Director
Farah Anwar is the Director of Philanthropy and Operations at The Baltimore Banner. The Baltimore Banner is a non-profit news website in Baltimore founded by the Venetoulis Institute for local journalism. She worked as the Director of the Programs and Partnership Team at The National Park Foundation (NPF), which generates private support and builds strategic partnerships to protect and enhance America’s national parks for present and future generations. Previously Farah was a Program Associate for South Asia at The Global Fund for Children supporting over 60 grantees in 7 countries. The Global Fund for Children partners with local community-based organizations globally to empower children and youth to reach their full potential and build a future where they are safe, strong, and valued. Farah earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations with a minor in geography and development from Mount Holyoke College.
