Afsana Sadiq Atuly

Afsana Sadiq Atuly is an education professional and passionate advocate for equity. She is a Fellow of Youth Policy Forum. Atuly began her career as a primary school teacher working in one of the biggest slum communities in Bangladesh as a Teach For Bangladesh Fellow. Since then, she has trained and developed more than 300 Teach For Bangladesh Fellows as highly effective teachers for low-resource schools. In addition to her work in teacher training and leadership development, Atuly led numerous strategic initiatives, including expanding the TFB Fellowship to Chattogram, spearheading TFB’s blended learning curriculum during the COVID19 pandemic, and developing TFB’s child safeguarding policy and practice.


Atuly has a particular interest in early childhood education and girls’ education. Previously she worked as the Program Manager for the Education Out Loud program with Street Child. She is also working on her passion project to build community-based learning centers for rural schools all around Bangladesh. Atuly holds a BA from the Asian University for Women and completed her MEd from BRAC University Institute of Education Development.
