About Teach For Bangladesh
Teach For Bangladesh (TFB) believes that every child in Bangladesh – regardless of socio-economic circumstance – deserves the opportunity for an excellent education. Our mission is to launch a movement of capable, committed, and compassionate leaders who share an understanding of inequity and are working tirelessly inside and outside the nation’s classrooms to end it.
Our Fellowship program enlists highly talented graduates to spend two years teaching in low-income schools. During that time, we train and support Fellows as they expand the academic achievement, access, and aspirations of their students. The program also prepares Fellows to become lifelong leaders who will spearhead systemic change across a diverse array of sectors in Bangladesh.

Position Summary
‘Winter Academy’ is a six-week intensive training program designed to equip our Fellows with the knowledge, skills, and mindsets that they will need before they begin teaching full-time in January. This year’s Academy, starting on October 18, will be for the incoming batch of 80-90 Teach For Bangladesh Fellows. The purpose of the Winter Academy is to initiate Fellows into the two-year leadership development program, invest in the mission, vision, and values of Teach For Bangladesh, and prepare them to work as highly effective leaders when they assume full-time teaching responsibilities from early 2025. During the training, the Fellows’ time is spread between both synchronous and asynchronous workshop-style training sessions, teaching practice in local primary and secondary schools (all morning for 3 weeks), and community visits. The Fellows will also be responsible for conducting lessons in a blended module.
Curriculum specialists are motivated by a desire to build knowledge and instructional skills in new teachers. An ideal candidate has a passion for the art of teaching and working with young leaders.
