About Teach For Bangladesh

Founded in 2012, Teach For Bangladesh (TFB) develops leaders committed to expanding educational opportunity and advancing systems change. What began as a small founding cohort has grown into a national movement reaching students in under-served primary and secondary schools across four regions of Bangladesh: Rangpur, Dhaka, Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar.

TFB’s theory of change is rooted in collective leadership: by building a critical mass of leaders who understand the root causes of inequity and act across sectors, we can shift the systems that determine life outcomes for children. TFB is an independent member of the global Teach For All network.

Position Summary

Teach For Bangladesh stands at an inflection point. From 2012 to 2020, the organization steadily expanded its geographic footprint and strengthened its Fellowship model, building credibility and scale across Bangladesh. Today, with renewed strategic clarity and a growing Alumni movement, TFB is poised to define its next phase. Doing so requires translating vision into disciplined strategy, updating and strengthening organizational systems, and aligning resources to long-term priorities in a rapidly evolving environment.
