About Teach For Bangladesh
Teach For Bangladesh (TFB) believes that every child in Bangladesh – regardless of socio-economic circumstance – deserves the opportunity for an excellent education. Our mission is to launch a movement of capable, committed, and compassionate leaders who share the vision of an equitable Bangladesh and are working tirelessly inside and outside the nation’s classrooms to expand educational opportunities for all children.
Our flagship Fellowship program enlists highly talented graduates to spend two years teaching full-time in low-income schools. During that time, we train and support Fellows as they drive the academic and non-academic development of their students. The program also prepares Fellows to become lifelong leaders who will spearhead systemic change in Bangladesh, particularly in the education sector.

Position Summary
The Partnership Development Team at TFB is an integral part of our long-term mission to eradicate educational inequity in Bangladesh. The team’s core function is to inspire and empower individuals and organisations to commit to our national movement for educational equity. The team nurtures a growing network of local, regional, and global champions who are deeply connected and involved with the mission of our organisation, lending their voice, resources and support to our cause while committing to scaling and maximising the impact of our program. In addition, the team is also responsible for strategic communication, and some aspects of branding and management of relationships with the government.
To help the Development team strengthen existing relationships, nurture new ones, and secure the financial sustainability and growth of Teach For Bangladesh as an organisation, we are looking for a proactive, motivated, and goal-oriented Development Intern. Working closely with the Manager/ Deputy Manager, the Development Intern will help the team achieve its broader goals by maintaining key team processes and systems as well as contribute to the development of partnership concepts, donor research proposals and pitch assets to prepare documents and knowledge products to mobilize resources for the most underserved children.
This role is an excellent learning opportunity for someone who understands and deeply connects with TFB’s mission and is looking to grow their skills and knowledge in strategic communication, building partnerships, and is actively seeking deeper exposure to the broader local and international development sector while maximizing their impact on addressing education inequity.
