Ijma Rahman is the Associate Director for Budget Department at BRAC International, where she leads financial planning and budgeting across its country operations. In her role, she focuses on strengthening systems that improve efficiency, transparency, and strategic decision-making to support BRAC International’s mission at scale.
Prior to this, Ijma served as Finance Director at Teach For Bangladesh, where she played a pivotal role in enhancing the organization’s financial sustainability and operational effectiveness. Her time at TFB deepened her commitment to advancing educational equity in Bangladesh and continues to inspire her work today.
Having lived and worked across North America and South Asia, Ijma brings a global perspective and a solutions-oriented approach to leadership. She is passionate about leveraging finance as a tool for social impact and is honored to return to Teach For Bangladesh as a member of its Board, supporting the organization’s vision for a more just and equitable future.
