Senior Director, Partnership Development and Resource Mobilization
Tanzila Salahuddin leads Teach For Bangladesh’s philanthropic and strategic partnerships to help advance TFB’s vision of building an equitable society in which all children receive an excellent education that empowers them to realize their full potential. Tanzila Salahuddin brings more than 15 years of international nonprofit and development experience. She has held senior leadership positions in fundraising and strategy in many international nonprofits. She spent 10 years at Grameen America in New York where she played a key leadership role as a Senior Director and helped the organization grow from a start-up to one of the largest microfinance institutions in the United States. She also worked at Kiva Microfunds in New York as the Vice President Strategic Partnerships, and at Whole Planet Foundation as the Asia-Pacific Regional Manager. Tanzila also spent a year at Swisscontact in Bangladesh as Manager of Portfolio Development. Tanzila holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Economics and Business Management from Elmira College in New York.
