Ms. Sheela R. Rahman is a lawyer practicing and working in Bangladesh since 1990. She is the Director of Legal and Compliance at BRAC. She was senior legal counsel in her law office, Maxima.Legal, with main practice areas of banking, company, corporate finance, telecommunications and employment law. She was also a consultant with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for the South Asia Regional Corporate Governance Project. She worked as in-house legal counsel for a large project finance company in Bangladesh and for a branch of a foreign bank in Bangladesh.
Ms. Sheela R. Rahman is an Advocate, Supreme Court of Bangladesh and a Barrister-at-law, Lincoln’s Inn, London. She has a Master of Law degree from University College London and a Bachelor of Law degree from University of Calabar, Nigeria.
