About Teach For Bangladesh
Teach For Bangladesh (TFB) believes that every child in Bangladesh – regardless of socio-economic circumstance – deserves the opportunity for an excellent education. Our mission is to launch a movement of capable, committed, and compassionate leaders who share the vision of an equitable Bangladesh and are working tirelessly inside and outside the nation’s classrooms to expand educational opportunities for all children.
Our flagship Fellowship program enlists highly talented graduates to spend two years teaching full-time in low-income schools. During that time, we train and support Fellows as they drive the academic and non-academic development of their students. The program also prepares Fellows to become lifelong leaders who will spearhead systemic change in Bangladesh, particularly in the education sector.

Our Expanded Vision for Students
We envision a future in which All children know that they are inherently powerful and that they are worthy of love, dignity and belonging. They know and find appreciative joy in the things that make them, their communities and others unique in the world. They know that anything is possible and that the future is theirs to create. They think critically and creatively when they encounter adversity, treating every experience as an opportunity to learn and grow. They are curious about the world around them and move through it with awareness and agency. They are lifelong learners in pursuit of holistic growth and wellbeing. They are strong readers and mathematicians who are able to read and write the world around them. In school and outside school, they are acquiring the knowledge and skills that enable them to make informed choices about their lives. Children engage with educators and other adults as co-learners, working to unlock their full potential and the potential of their communities, towards building a just Bangladesh and world.
